Hello world!

This is an interesting feeling; sitting down to blog about nothing.  I seem to have ‘nothing’ on my mind a whole lot.  I think about everything.  I see a bug and wonder what kind of bug it is, what color it is, what color its insides are, where it came from, if it bit me, if it could bite me, how long it will live, and on and on and on.  If someone asks me what I’m thinking, generally I don’t admit that I’m comtemplating the color of a bugs inards…so I say nothing.  Nothing seems to apply to everything.  I suppose I could just tell people that I’m constantly thinking about everything.  That might not go over so well though.  That might lead to more questions.

Too many questions are a bad thing.  They start to wear on the nerves and quite frankly, answering them can teach people something they don’t really need to know about me.  I think I’ll stick with nothing.

I recently had a conversation with someone about nothing.  Literally, two second ago, I was asked “what are you doing” and I said “nothing.”  I was answered with “you’re not doing nothing, you’re typing,” so I said I was writing.  Which led to more questions; should have stuck to my guns and said, “nothing.”  Case in point.

So, my blog will be whatever random thought is on my brain at the time I’m writing.  I can promise amusement, although I can’t promise what form it’ll come in.  Stories, idle thoughts, ingenious ideas, or dawdling swill fill my pages.
